RESTAURANTS

HURRICANE HOTEL

The impressive architecture and breathtaking views across to Morocco make this one of the most striking places to eat in Tarifa. You'll find great salads and fish in the beach restaurant during the daytime. At night the main restaurant offers a fantastic menu with tables set under the Moroccan-style arches that frame the view across the pool.

LOLA

This is one of Tarifa's favourite Tapas bars, serving a wonderful selection of traditional Spanish food. You'll find it close to the church, in a square in the old part of town.  It gets packed in the summer, so you may have to wait a while for a table.

TUMBAO BURGER

With a great selection of burgers and salads, 'Tumbao Burger' is an ideal place to watch the sun go down and have an early-evening meal. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. It's one of the only places on the beach that serves food in the evening.

EL JARDÍN DEL CALÍFA

If you want to explore beyond Tarifa, 'The Caliph's Garden' in Vejer is one of Andalucia’s prime eating destinations. It serves fabulous North African & Middle Eastern food in a historic, tranquil & unsurpassed setting in the heart of Vejer’s medieval quarter.

BEACH BARS

TUMBAO

Famous for its Mojitos, Tumbao is without a doubt Tarifa's most happening beach bar. It's relaxed during the daytime, and then transforms in the late afternoon into a vibrant, lively spot. It has a great atmosphere, and a fun team of staff.

LA CABAÑA

You'll find La Cabaña in Bolonia, a neighbouring seaside village. This is one of various beach bars dotted along the seafront. It's a beautiful spot to watch the sun go down.

BARS

TARIFA

You'll find all the good bars in Tarifa in the centre of town. If you go through the arch that is the gateway into the old-town (La Puerta de Jerez), and follow the winding streets down the hill, you can't go wrong.
